An exploration of the challenges frequently faced by those who take action to make the world a better place (either in organisations or individually), as well as a range of practical solutions to address them. This talk will be inspired by Verene’s recent work, alongside 15 others, to co-design a global apprenticeship programme with the aim of supporting activists and practitioners with issues such as navigating difficult conversations, cultivating inner freedom, transitioning organisations to full collaboration, engaging with the legacy of patriarchy, transforming our relationship with money, understanding and engaging with power and privilege, making collaborative decisions, and more.
Verene is an independent trainer and facilitator, is certified to teach Nonviolent Communication and lives in Glasgow.
