Grief Ceremony with Ilona Kästner

Description: Grief Ceremony
with Ilona Kästner

The Grief Ceremony is a safe ritual space where we meet collectively to be held and witnessed in our grief.

Grief is our natural response to loss and when it is not welcomed and expressed it can burden our steps and inhibit our capacity to fully live our lives. Sacred practices for communal grief tending are part of our ancestral heritage. Reclaiming this medicine is a way of lifting the clouds of shame, guilt and isolation that often surround the dark and unmet places of our soul. Learning how to be with and welcome grief in its many forms can free the soul and take us deeper into our joy and love for life. We will work with movement, mindfulness practices, and a circle ritual.

Ilona Kästner has over eight years experience working in the field of individual and collective healing based on mindfulness and movement practices, nature connection and transformational learning.
