19:00 [19:00] Communicating with Animals & Nature (first of 3 sessions)
Description:
Learn the principles and techniques of animal (interspecies) communication, and develop your natural intuitive ability to communicate with other species. During the weekend you will be introduced to the principles and techniques of interspecies communication, understand how animals express themselves and how to send messages effectively. We will explore the obstacles to receiving clear messages, and will also look at the world from the perspective of another creature. There will be several opportunities to practice communicating with animals remotely, including with your own beloved animal companions; and you will discover various applications of telepathic animal communication. Interspecies Communication builds a bridge of understanding between the worlds of humans and animals, helping create greater harmony between us. Schedule: Friday: 7-9pm; Saturday: 9.30am-5.30pm**; Sunday: 9.30am-4.30pm [**also Saturday evening 7-8.30pm The Animal Communicator film screening & discussion (optional)] Bring: Photo/s of an animal you know (perhaps your own) who you would like to connect with. (Please also see the booking site for more information on what to bring). Facilitators: Lesley Downie & Jacqueline Buckingham Lesley Downie grew up with a deep love of nature. Her listening and communication practice developed through craniosacral healing with babies and adults, body work, co-creative gardening at Findhorn and by following her curiosity in the wild. Rooted in her respect for the intelligent awareness in all life, Lesley has been tutored and mentored by renowned animal communicator Anna Breytenbach both in Scotland and in African wilderness. She is passionate about supporting humans to reach beyond the ‘people centred’ culture and to become a voice for the others in this more than human world. Jacqueline Buckingham began taking to animals and plants as a child on her family's farm. She teaches animal communication in Australia, Africa and the UK, including at the iconic Findhorn Foundation in Scotland where she first met and began working with Anna Breytenbach, with whom she continues to collaborate. Jacqueline is passionate about restoring the balance between humans and the rest of the natural world. She is also a Reiki master teacher and a Transpersonal Therapist.
