12:00 [12:00] Cultivating Loving Kindness
Description:
Come and gently feel your way into the depths of your soul. A two-hour workshop, exploring the ancient healing techniques of Transformational Hatha Yoga. With so much violence and suffering going on around us, coupled with the relentless nature of the international press, we are ever more challenged by feelings of anxiety, stress and fear, stuck in our fight or flight response that feeds both our controller and escapist and puts a constant strain on our central nervous system. Inspired by a deep motivation to hold space for people to move into their loving kindness, Katherine has developed this workshop, to guide you on a transformational journey to open you up to a place of tenderness, a place of compassion, for yourself as well as for the world around you. Whether yoga is already a staple part of your life, or whether you are just beginning to wonder how the practice can support you, this workshop will move you out of your comfort zone, away from the judge and critic and ask you to soften. Expect to practice asana and pranayama, partner stretches, as well as mantra and meditation. For more information or to book, please contact me, Katherine Crawley, on kc@katherinecrawley.com. Cost: £20 on the day or £15 if you book by the 8th of September Katherine Crawley was introduced to yoga by her mother at the age of 14 and fell instantly in love. Katherine began studying Ashtanga yoga at the influential Life Centre in London, with founding teachers, Godfrey Devereux and Kahti Goupil, in 1992. After the birth of her son in 2011, Katherine was finally moved to embark on her own teaching journey and trained in Transformational Hatha Yoga through the International Yoga Alliance. Transformational Hatha Yoga, Inspired by the teachings of The Mother and Sri Aurobindo, is an integral approach to physical health, emotional balance, and mental and spiritual clarity and has allowed Katherine to develop her own integrative teaching style. Synthesizing the most powerful techniques of Hatha, Mantra and Kundalini yoga, Katherine’s teaching is deeply transformational on a physical, emotional, mental and spiritual level.
