Daily meditation was one of the core values at the heart of the founding of The Salisbury Centre, over 40 years ago. Today we still maintain this practice as a means of personal spiritual development but also as a service to our community. ¨ Every weekday (Mon-Fri) at 08:00 and 17:30 ¨ Please arrive 5-10 minutes before start time ¨ Non-denominational ¨ 30 minutes silent sitting meditation ¨ Everyone welcome ¨ No experience needed ¨ Free of charge ¨ No need to book ¨ No need to bring anything

19:00 [19:00] Mindfullybeing Drop in Mindfulness Practice Class
Description:
These 'drop in,' mindfulness classes are especially suitable to people who are already familiar with mindfulness meditation methods and feel that they could benefit from further support and inspiration. People who are new to the practice, however are also welcome to attend. A typical session will include a forty minute guided meditation, focussing on body, breath, sounds etc., five minutes mindful walking, a brief mindful dialogue and a shorter session of the loving kindness meditation. The classes are run by Mindfully Being and will be led by Derek Goodman. The cost is £8 per class. Please pay by cash or cheque on arrival. Description:
Edinburgh Thursday Transformational Breath Group Every 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month. This Transformational Breath group has been running for over 3 years now and is very happy to have found a new home in the lovely Salisbury Centre. Anne-Marie Birch and Russell Storey are both experienced Transformational Breath facilitators and would like to welcome you to join the group to experience the power of your own breath in a safe, supportive environment. Come and experience how this simple yet profound healing technique can help release stress and bring more energy, joy and wellbeing into your life. It can also help still your mind and allow you to access higher states of awareness bringing you close to the shining diamond that is your true self. All this by learning to breathe more fully! Anne-Marie will be offering a short introduction for beginners at 6.55pm just before the main group meeting.
